In a nutshell

This is exactly the same product as our whole deer antler — same origin, same material, same complete absence of additives — with one difference: the piece is split lengthways, exposing the central marrow.

That detail changes everything in use. Where a whole antler takes several days of work before the dog reaches the soft part, a split antler delivers the reward immediately. As a result, dogs that used to ignore hard chew toys usually get going within the first few minutes.

It is also the best choice for senior dogs, for dogs whose jaw has lost some power, and for small breeds: the split surface is workable with less effort, without giving up the benefits of antler.

In exchange, it lasts less time than a whole antler — expect 1 to 3 weeks rather than 1 to 3 months. That's the price of accessibility.

What your dog gets out of it

Instantly adopted

The exposed marrow gives off a discreet but very appealing scent: most dogs take an interest within a minute.

Chewing that still lasts

1 to 3 weeks on average: far more than a standard treat, while staying accessible to modest jaws.

Gentle cleaning

The abrasion is still effective against plaque, but puts less strain on the enamel than a whole antler.

Designed for seniors

A good way to preserve the pleasure of chewing in an ageing dog, without asking more of the jaw than it can give.

Hypoallergenic by nature

A single ingredient: no grain, no gluten, no processed meat protein, no synthetic flavourings.

Same commitment, same origin

Collected in the forest after natural shedding. No animal is killed for this product.

How to use it

Pick a size longer than your dog's muzzle: the chart below gives the two available formats and the matching dog weight.

Offer the piece marrow-side up for the first session: your dog will spot it straight away.

  • First sessions: 10 to 15 minutes, supervised
  • Regular rhythm: 20 to 40 minutes a day
  • Put the piece away between sessions to keep the interest up

Once the marrow has been fully eaten, the piece carries on being chewed like a whole antler — often for several more days.

If the surface dries out and loses its appeal, run it briefly under hot water before giving it back.

Frequently asked questions about this product

How is it different from the whole antler?

The material is exactly the same. Only the cut changes: the split antler is opened lengthways, making the marrow accessible immediately. It is therefore more appealing and easier to chew toy, but doesn't last as long.

What happens once all the marrow is eaten?

The piece stays perfectly usable: it then behaves like a whole antler and keeps your dog busy for several more days, sometimes weeks.

Is this the right choice for a first chew toy?

It's the one we recommend first. A dog that has never had a natural chew toy doesn't always see the point of a whole antler; with the marrow exposed, the discovery happens on its own.

Is it suitable for an older dog?

Yes, it's one of our two most senior-friendly products alongside yak cheese. Just check the state of your dog's teeth, and ask your vet if they already have dental pain.
